G22 3 & 4 Point Flexural Bending Fixture

The G22 Bend Fixture Series features a modular design enabling it to expand to a variety of test scenarios. The fixtures are available in force capacities of 11,250 lb (50 kN) to 67,000 lb (300 kN). The entry level configuration is a 3 point fixture that expands to 4 point applications with an additional kit. The fixture performs a variety of bend, flexural and fracture tests to make flexural modulus, flexural strength and flexural yield strength measurements. Interchangeable rollers, anvils, and supports ensure it can meet your needs today as well as expand in the future.

Each 3 point setup includes a support span base matched to length needs with two lower adjustable anvils to handle specimens of different spans, plus a single upper loading anvil. The 4 point kit adds an upper loading span with two anvils and rollers. Both upper and lower fixtures can be mounted to your test machine with customized adapters. Rollers are interchangeable so different diameters and lengths are easy to handle. The base includes a ruler that simplifies manual centering. Specimen deflection can be measured through machine head displacement, or directly via an optional deflectometer.

G103 Flexure Bending Fixture

For flexural and fracture toughness bond tests including determination of flexural modulus, flexural strength and flexural yield strength. The G103-3 three point fixture can be modified with an optional conversion kit to provide four point bending. Lower anvils adjust to different spans. Deflection of the specimen can be measured through crosshead displacement, or for more precise measurement, usage of a deflectometer.

G238 Flexure Bending Fixture

The G238 features a unique modular design enabling it to expand to a variety of test scenarios from a standard 3 point bend test to 4 point tests to flexural tests on ceramics and glass with special articulating anvils - at loads up to 2250 pounds (10 kN). The G238X family performs a variety of bend, flexural and fracture tests to make flexural modulus,flexural strength and flexural yield strength measurements.Interchangeable anvils, rollers and bases ensure you meet your needs today as well as in the future.

Each 3 point setup includes a support span base, two lower anvils which are adjustable to handle specimens of different spans, and a single upper loading anvil. Each 4 point setup includes a span base, an upper mounted base, with both bases including two adjustable anvils. Both upper and lower fixtures can be mounted to users' existing test machine, using customized adapters. Each anvil diameter may be easily changed to a different length or diameter. The base includes a ruler that simplifies manual centering. Specimen deflection can be measured through machine head displacement, or directly via an optional deflectometer.
