Model Box & Load Frame

The Model box is a device in the laboratory which is used to simulate boundary conditions of slope, foundation pits, tunnels, underground spaces, pile foundations etc. It can be welded or assembled by mechanical parts, or casted by reinforced concrete like reaction wall. It’s required to meet the requirements of the boundary conditions, to transmit stress, to control the water level, to observe easily and to reduce the boundary effect as much as possible.

Finally, the model box should be easily layout sensors and loading actuators. Divided by different form and structure, Popwil provide customer with three kinds of model boxes: open type model box, loading frame integrated model box and centrifuge precision model box. The loading frame of the Geotechnical Engineering Testing System is different from the Structural Testing System. It is usually customized design and varied according to the model box and the request of the test.
